C'est La Cuisine Feature: Bacon Wrapped Lobster
Prep: 5 minutes Bake: 20-22 minutes
I challenged myself to make something I’ve always wanted to make and Lobster was on that list. I wanted a fun way to handle it and after first deciding to add it to a baked potato, I knew a potato needs bacon and that’s how the bacon wrapped lobster came into being.
Ingredients
2 slices of bacon (or more if your lobster tail is exactly that big)
1 lobster tail
2 tbls melted butter
Garlic powder
Prep
Preheat oven to 450 F (230 C)
Pull the lobster tail from it’s shell completely
Melt the butter and mix with garlic
Brush over the lobster tail
Wrap the slices of bacon around the tail covering it
Add to a baking tray with foil on it
Bake for at least 15 minutes if not up to 20 until the bacon is cooked through
Afterthoughts
This was crispy bacon and a juicy lobster heaven. It all went swimmingly together. The bacon can be seasoned as well with brown sugar or similar and it will taste amazing. I highly recommend this dish. While lobster isn’t always cheap, it’s fast, easy and anyone can make it.
