Super Easy Wonton Wrapper

Prep 7 minutes Set: 20 minutes

I had a recipe I wanted to try but first I needed the right dough. That’s where this wonton wrapper comes in. I needed this and it turns out they are insanely easy to make. Let’s get going.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups flour

  • 1 egg

  • 1/3 cup water

  • 2 pinches of garlic salt

Prep

  1. Add the egg and water to a bowl and mix well

  2. Add the flour and salt into another bowl and mix

  3. Pour together and mix until a dough forms that is not too sticky. Slowly add more flour if too sticky, water if too dry

  4. Allow this to rest under a towel for around 20 minutes

  5. Break into smaller balls and roll out to circles or squares that are about 3 1/2 inch wide and no more than 2 mm thick

Afterthoughts

This was super easy to make though I pressed mine out by hand so my dough was a bit thick. It fried and tasted amazing through. This recipe is fast, easy and great to use for any wrapped snacks.
