C’est La Cuisine: Honey Glaze

Prep: 5 minutes Cook: 15-20 minutes

I needed a honey glaze for some pork and found a common way to make it! This is fast and easy and just needs constant stirring. This made enough for 4 medium sized pork chops.

Ingredients

  • 2 tbls butter

  • 1/2 cup honey

  • 1/4 cup packed brown sugar

  • 2 tbls apple cider vinegar

Prep

  1. Heat a skillet to a medium heat

  2. Add butter to pan and melt

  3. Add the rest of the ingredients and mix well

  4. Continue stirring as it heats, it will darken and thicken as you stir

  5. Use a brush to spread over desired meal

Afterthoughts

This was super, simple and was fun to watch it thicken and darken to a lovely glaze. This is an easy way to add fun flavour to ham, pork, and heck, maybe veggies.
